What We Are About:
Chartered since 1984, DVFF has served its fly angling members by providing opportunities to share local knowledge and cheer one another's latest catch. DVFF provides members with numerous opportunities to meet sporting experts in waters cold and warm, fresh and salt, and everything in between.

DVFF also serves its community by convening two hands-on, day-long workshops offering an "Introduction" to fly fishing.

Introduction to Fly Fishing at the Silver Lake Nature Center. This is our "home" event and is held, rain or shine, at the Silver Lake Nature Center in Bristol Township, Bucks County, PA. Proceeds for this event are forwarded to the Silver Lake Nature Center. Call now to enroll in our March 27, 2010 class - (215) 245-0677.

Introduction to Fly Fishing on the Little Lehigh Creek. In cooperation with the "Little Lehigh Fly Shop" DVFF offers a fair-weather, day-long session. Lunch is provided, as well as ample opportunities to fly fish the "catch and release fly-fishing only" waters adjacent to the shop. Proceeds for this event are used to fund ongoing DVFF activities and programs. Call now to enroll in our May 1, 2010 class (rain date May 2) -
(215) 245-0677.

DVFF offers Fly Tying Classes typically scheduled between January and May. Our expert tiers offer tips and techniques for beginner and advanced tiers and share patterns proven to work on local waters. Proceeds from these classes are forwarded to the Silver Lake Nature Center.
