Session includes descriptions of various tackle, techniques, and many more topics.

There will also be a group casting instruction with a Certified Instructor.

Lackawanna, Lackawaxen and the Upper Delaware Rivers-
Northeastern Pennsylvania, whose waters are steeped in American angling history, boasts some of the best fly fishing for trout in the world. Among its prime trout waters is the Lackawanna River, which was a heavily polluted urban waterway for many decades during the region’s coal-mining heyday. Today, thanks to the efforts of local conservationists and fly fishermen, a five-mile stretch of the Lackawanna is a designated Trophy Trout fishery teeming with wild brown trout
Adam Nidoh, Manager of A&G Outfitters in Dickson City, PA, 570-489-1650, will do a presentation on Fly Fishing the local Streams of his area. Adam is born and raised in Scranton, PA (still live there).
Grew up spin fishing (we forgive him) for bass, but got into fly fishing when I was 13.
Have been fly fishing for the past 18 years.
Adam’s dad and Adamhave owned and operated A&G Outfitters, in Dickson City, PA, for 14 years.
Have been guiding for 10 years. Licensed in PA & NY.
Guide primarily on the Lackawanna, Lackawaxen, Lehigh, Delaware & Susquehanna Rivers.
Worked as the Fly Fishing Instructor/Guide at TLAW for 5 years.
Have been a part of the Orvis R&D team for 3 years.
Have been teaching Fly Fishing & Fly Tying Courses at Keystone College for 3 years.
Recently published in the guide book, Keystone Fly Fishing.
Currently works at Whitetail Country Fly Shop in Starlight, PA & for Cross Current Guide Service

Brian’s love of fishing
started at an early age,
encouraged by his fa-
ther. After many years exploring the bigger rivers and
smaller warm water streams, Brian started Susque-
hanna River Guides in 1993 as a way to share his love
of the rivers and fly-fishing with others. Today clients
have come from every reach of the United States, Can-
ada, as well as Europe have come to South Central
Pennsylvania to discover the thrill of fly-fishing for
smallmouth bass and other warm water fishes.
Brian is on the pro staff for Scott rods, Costa Sunglass-
es, and Columbia Clothing. Brian is also associated
with Simms and Fish Pond, Scientific Anglers
Brian is a speaker at many local and regional clubs and
organizations, as well as many fishing and outdoor
shows. Numerous publications, both local and national
have featured Brian and Susquehanna River Guides.
Brian has contributed to books and is one of the co-
authors of “Keystone Fly Fishing Guide”

comes to fly tying and
fly fishing tactics. He knows the local fisheries and the
Upper Delaware River system better than most of us
know the marks on the backs of our hands. In this
presentation you will learn how to tie his Dry Fly

patterns designed to target big Trout and see for your-
self why his photo albums are filled with hundreds

of the trophy Trout everyone else only hopes to
hook into.

Sam is a life time member of the Main Line Fly-
Tyers Club and the Delaware Valley Fly Fishers and

for the past 35 plus years he has been a significant
reason for the success of the Main Line Fly Tyers.

He is known for his enthusiasm for fly tying, fly fish-
ing, casting, and his willingness to share his knowledge

and teach others the techniques. Over the years he
has taught hundreds, if not thousands, of men and
women how to tie flies that catch fish!

Most all of his special fly patterns, secrets, and tech-
niques have finally been put in to print and can now

be found in his new book, “Fly Patterns – An Edge
Above the Rest”.

Each year he teaches private classes, and also demon-
strates his techniques and performs seminars for

many fly angler clubs throughout the tri state area.

Guest Speaker – Tim Flagler of Tightline Productions

Please attend our meeting Wednesday evening January 24, 2018 at 7:30pm to see Tim Flagler give his presentation “Secrets of the Ken Lockwood Gorge”.  This Fly fishing destination is only 1 hour north of our meeting location and is considered one of the ten most beautiful places in New Jersey.  It is a New Jersey Wildlife Management Area on the South Branch of the Raritan River, which offers good trout fishing.

Tim of Hunterdon County, NJ is founder of Tightline Productions LLC( which are famous worldwide for excellent videography of fly tying.  His videos can be found on,,, and others.  Tim was a featured fly tier at the recent International Fly Tying Symposium held this past year in Lancaster PA, and has been traveling the country as a guest for other Fly Fishing Shows this year.  He can be seen at The Fly Fishing Show in Edison, NJ, January 26, 27, & 28th, 2018 where he will give a seminar and be a featured fly tier.
