Euro Nymphing is the topic of this evenings presentation by Anita Coulton.
Anita started fly fishing more than 20 years ago on PA streams with her father. After attending the Orvis Fly Fishing School her addiction was fully entrenched. Though trout are her passion, she’s skilled fishing for anything that swims in both fresh and saltwater.
Anita is a well known and respected competitive angler on the top ranked Team Freestone. She has competed alongside both Team USA and World Team members, and has multiple top 10 finishes.
Some highlights of her accomplishments include:

*2014 Deep Freeze, Chittenango NY: 2nd place Individual
*2014 CNY Classic 2nd place Team
*2010 AuSable Two Fly First Place winner
She is also a graduate of the Reel Women Guide School in Montana.
Anita shares her passion with organizations like the US Youth Fly Fishing team, and Casting for Recovery. When not on the water, Anita works in a physical therapy outpatient clinic where she help patients get back to living the life they wish to. Anita’s also an expert in the Martial Arts, recently earning a black belt in karate. She’s an excellent teacher of all ages and skill levels who loves to hit the water, catch some fish, and have some fun!

This evenings presentation by Tim Flagler is entitled “What Trout Like to Eat & Flies to Feed Them”
This presentation will include video of aquatic insects, bait fish & crustaceans trout eat to survive and the fly patterns we use to imitate them.
Tim resides in Hunterdon County, NJ. He is founder of Tightline Productions LLC (http://www.tightlinevideo.com) which are famous worldwide for excellent videography of fly tying. His videos can be found on Vimeo.com, Midcurrent.com, Orvis.com, and others.
Tim is a featured fly tier at the annual International Fly Tying Symposium, and travels the country as a guest for other Fly Fishing Shows.

Lackawanna, Lackawaxen and the Upper Delaware Rivers-
Northeastern Pennsylvania, whose waters are steeped in American angling history, boasts some of the best fly fishing for trout in the world. Among its prime trout waters is the Lackawanna River, which was a heavily polluted urban waterway for many decades during the region’s coal-mining heyday. Today, thanks to the efforts of local conservationists and fly fishermen, a five-mile stretch of the Lackawanna is a designated Trophy Trout fishery teeming with wild brown trout
Adam Nidoh, Manager of A&G Outfitters in Dickson City, PA, 570-489-1650, will do a presentation on Fly Fishing the local Streams of his area. Adam is born and raised in Scranton, PA (still live there).
Grew up spin fishing (we forgive him) for bass, but got into fly fishing when I was 13.
Have been fly fishing for the past 18 years.
Adam’s dad and Adamhave owned and operated A&G Outfitters, in Dickson City, PA, for 14 years.
Have been guiding for 10 years. Licensed in PA & NY.
Guide primarily on the Lackawanna, Lackawaxen, Lehigh, Delaware & Susquehanna Rivers.
Worked as the Fly Fishing Instructor/Guide at TLAW for 5 years.
Have been a part of the Orvis R&D team for 3 years.
Have been teaching Fly Fishing & Fly Tying Courses at Keystone College for 3 years.
Recently published in the guide book, Keystone Fly Fishing.
Currently works at Whitetail Country Fly Shop in Starlight, PA & for Cross Current Guide Service

Our speaker for the meeting on Wednesday, November 22 is our club member Sam Vigorita. Sam has fished Pa streams for over 40 years and will speak on Fishing the Upper Delaware River a fishery that Sam has particular expertise fly fishing. Sam will discuss fishing tactics and flies. Sam is a highly accomplished fly tyer and he also teaches advanced fly tying in several fly tying programs in the area.

Our guest speaker this month is Steve Turrisi from The Sporting Gentleman shop in Glen Mills, PA. Steve is currently the lead fly fishing and fly tying instructor for the Sporting Gentleman.
Steve’s program is about fishing the White River in Arkansas. He will discuss fly fishing with streamers for the large trout found in this famous tailwater fishery. Many large Rainbow and Brown trout are caught in the river below Bull Shoals Reservoir year-round.
